Sabay established an air bridge between Izmir and Chicago with Turkish Airlines.
In December 2020, Sabay Logistics completed an extraordinary project for its energy sector client, transporting a gas turbine weighing over 100 tons from Izmir to Chicago. Safely transporting a load of this size requires specialized packaging, low-vibration conveying equipment, and meticulous flight planning.
Our project team, working with Turkish Airlines Cargo, planned the loading of the cargo onto the aircraft, customs procedures, unloading upon arrival, and domestic transportation organization. Every step of the route was designed taking into account both the customer's timeline and international aviation and safety standards.
